This section of our casino guide is aimed at complete beginners. We’ll help you get started if you have never played in a casino before, and we’ll try to make sure you enjoy yourself every step of the way. Even if you’re already familiar with how to play casino games, you’ll still probably find some of this information useful.
For starters, we’ve got a selection of articles covering the basics of casino gambling. These provide detailed information on topics such as the house edge and the different variations of specific games. We also provide advice on how to improve your chances of winning, along with a useful glossary of terms. You can find links to each of these articles below, with a brief description of each one.
Further down this page, you’ll find some important information you should know before getting started, along with a list of the dos and don’ts of casino gambling. There’s information on playing at online casinos, too, including details on a variety of popular games. And if you’re looking to play at an online casino right now we have also listed our top recommendations immediately below.
What You Need to Know Before You Start
You’re finally in a twinkly, noisy casino. You’ve filled up at the buffet and you’re itching to roll the dice and see if lady luck is on your side. Well hold on there buckaroo. You may have big dreams of hitting the jackpot and retiring on your own private island, but that’s not going to happen here. Gambling is a good time and can offer a nice rush when things shake out in your favor, but it’s not how it looks in the movies.
The house always has an advantage
No matter what game you’re playing, the house (the casino you’re gambling in) has an edge. They do not need to rely on luck to win and make money, they just need players like you. The math is on their side, always. Know that going in, and never assume you have the upper hand with these games. Somebody’s big win dwarfs in comparison to the thousands of wins the house has claimed.
Luck is the biggest factor in winning
Unlike the house, you do have to rely on luck to make any money—most of the time. There are ways you can slightly reduce the house’s advantage over you by playing smart, thus extending your play time, but luck is still the biggest determining factor of your success.
Start with a fixed amount of money you’re ready to lose
Gambling is not a lucrative way to make money. It is strictly for entertainment. Before you walk onto the casino floor, decide how much money you can comfortably afford to play with (meaning: lose forever), then stick to it. Take out some cash, then leave your ATM card in your hotel room. Never take out more money to get back what you’ve lost. Create boundaries for yourself. If you can’t comfortably afford to lose it, don’t play. Sorry. Gambling isn’t designed to save people down on their luck.
Hot streaks don’t last
If you’re winning and have more money than you started with, think about stopping. Eventually your hot streak will end and you’ll look at your chips wondering where all those winnings went.
Lastly, we recommend you look into player rewards and incentives being offered at the casino you’re gambling in. These programs often cost you nothing to join, but they can earn you swag, free gambling credit, free meals, and even free stays in really nice suites. You’re already spending the money to play, so you might as well take advantage of these programs. Look for a customer service counter or ask someone at the cashier’s cage.
Pick the Right Games to Play
Depending on what kind of experience you’re interested in, some games are better to play than others. Do you actually want to use skill to try to win some money? Or do you want to lounge around and sip on free cocktails? Do you want to feel the weight of casino chips in your hands? Or would you rather look at a machine showing off flashy effects and sounds?
If you’re looking to win, you should go for games that both require some degree of skill and won’t leave you naked and penniless too fast. The games with the best odds for players who actually know how to play (or less house edge) are:
- Blackjack (single deck, if available)
- Video Poker (“Double Bonus” or “Double Double Bonus”)
- Craps (some bets)
If you’re just looking to have some fun with an easy-to-learn game, however, we recommend these:
- Slots (note: penny slots do not cost only one cent to play)
- Roulette (European roulette has slightly better odds)
While playing slots, you can snag free cocktails from the waitresses roaming around (always tip). Roulette is the easiest of table games—just place your bet on what you think the little white ball will land on, like odd numbers, even numbers, red, black, or specific numbers (37:1 odds). You’ve got almost a 50/50 chance when playing odds, evens, reds, and blacks, so it’s pretty relaxed. Lastly, keno is designed to be played while you have a cocktail, watch TV, smoke a cigarette, or play other games. You pick some numbers on a grid, place your bet, then wait to see if your numbers come up. Think of it as a very small lottery.
Know the Rules and Learn Basic Strategies
If you’re nervous about playing a table game like blackjack, start with the easy stuff mentioned above and get a feel for placing bets. Then, when you’re ready, move on to the more complicated games. Before you sit at a high stakes table, though, take some time to learn the game first.
You can easily find gambling tutorials online, like this blackjack tutorial, or craps tutorial. A quick Google search will easily find you tons of how-to guides, as well as advanced strategies to increase your odds—sites like Wizard of Odds. If you don’t have time to research before you hit the floor, that’s okay too. Look for a low-stakes table with a small minimum bet, like a $5-per-hand blackjack table (depending on the casino and the night, $10 might be the lowest you can find).
Approach the table and tell the dealer that you’d like to play, but you don’t know how. They’ll gladly teach you, and might even show you how to play your cards right if you ask them. You see, dealers make a lot of their money through player tips, so it’s in their best interest for you to do well. They want you to win so you can give them money! It’s best to do this when the table is empty so you’re not slowing down play for others, but most people will be understanding or move to a different table.
Follow Casino Etiquette
While you play, it can only benefit you to be a positive, kind, and upstanding patron—even if you’re losing big time. Dealers will be nicer to you, cocktail waitresses will come around to your table more, and other players will appreciate it. I’ve had dealers give me advice on every hand to help me win, cocktail waitresses bring me doubles instead of single pours, and had a lot of great laughs with other players all because I wasn’t a jerk. If you can’t lose a little money and still be a decent person, don’t play.
Beyond that, there are a few basic casino rules you should follow:
- Never sit at a table unless you’re going to play (no chilling and watching your buddy play).
- And wait until the hand is over before you sit at a table.
- Never take out your phone while sitting at a table. They will yell at you.
- Don’t touch your bet once you’ve placed it and the hand/spin/etc. has been dealt.
- Only touch your cards with one hand.
- Don’t touch your winnings until the dealer has counted them out in front of you and pushed them toward you.
- Never stall the game to act like a hotshot (no blowing on dice, jumping around, or generally acting like you’re doing anything even remotely important).
- Always tip your dealer regularly, either by handing them a chip and clearly saying “This is for you,” or by placing a bet for them. Never try to tip them cash, chips only.
- Always tip your cocktail waitresses. I give them a $1-$5 chip every time they come around.
You still may not win any money if you follow these rules, but you won’t get in trouble and you’ll have a much better time.
Now you’re ready to hit the floor, roll some dice, say cool things like “hit me,” and have a good time. Good luck!

How to Play Slots
Today there are many different ways to gamble and make money. One of the popular options is playing slot machines online. In this post, you’ll take a closer look at some of the top reasons why playing slots online is a great idea.
The popularity of slot machines
Slot machines are a type of gambling that can be found in casinos around the world. They are becoming increasingly popular among gambling enthusiasts who appreciate the exciting and fast-paced action that slots can offer.
Featuring flashing lights and exciting sound effects, the slot machines are designed to engage and entertain players as they try their luck at picking winning combinations. Rather than relying on skill or strategy, these games rely mostly on chance, which makes them appealing to people who don’t want to think too much when it comes to gambling. Whether you’re playing alone or with friends, slots are a great way to unleash your inner gambler.
A variety of slot machines
With the advent of online casinos, online slot machines are becoming more accessible and popular. Many successful gamblers have found strategies to optimize their chances of winning, such as carefully evaluating the payouts on multiple machines and understanding how they work.
Today’s casinos offer an amazing variety of slot game themes, lively animations, brilliant sounds and significant jackpot sizes that make it fun to try your luck at these online slots. In addition to all the bonuses and promotions that many online casinos offer today – from free spins to welcome packages – there are plenty of ways to give players an extra incentive to keep those reels spinning.
Feature of slot machines
The thrill of playing slots and the chance to win life-changing fortunes is enough to get your heart racing! Slot machines are great for those who are new to gambling and want to learn, as they offer simple controls and a variety of games available.
What sets slots apart from other forms of gambling is their element of luck – although players can change their odds by understanding how the slots work, some hands or spins will always be out of their control. For casino enthusiasts looking for a thrill ride with every spin, playing slot machines can be a fun and exciting way to gamble.
Advantages of playing slot machines
Why are online slot machines so popular among gamblers? It is not difficult to understand if you consider the main advantages of gaming slots, which should include:
- Great variety;
- Simplicity and convenience of the game;
- Availability of a demo game mode;
- Chance to hit the jackpot.
All these strengths allow slot machines to enjoy high popularity among gamblers and to be widely represented in modern online casinos.
What characteristics should you pay attention to when choosing game slots
When choosing slots for real money, you should take into account a large number of characteristics, the most significant of which are:
- RTP. This indicator determines that part of the funds placed by the gambler, which will return to him with a high probability during the game. RTP is measured as a percentage and cannot exceed 100%. It is best to choose online slots with an RTP of at least 93%;
- Volatility. It characterizes the frequency and size of winnings. With low volatility, the wins are usually small, but they appear often. With high volatility, the opposite is true;
- Bonuses. Often, online slots contain various bonuses that make the game much more interesting because they provide an opportunity to get additional winnings.
Variations of playing slot machines
Slot machines are always fun. Whether you are a seasoned player or a beginner, you can easily play almost any slot machine online for free or for real money. With free play, beginners can gain experience and understand the rules before making their first deposit.
On the other hand, experienced players can have fun without risking anything. Playing for real money offers entertainment with more thrills and excitement, as well as the potential to win big prizes, including cash prizes!
Blackjack, or 21, is one of the most popular card games played in our casino. It is easy to learn and exciting to play. We provide: Two, Six, and Eight Deck 21 where the cards are dealt from a box called the “shoe.”
In Blackjack, everyone plays against the dealer. Players receive all cards face up and the dealer’s first card is face up and the second is face down. The object of the game is to get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over 21. If a hand goes over 21, it is called a “bust” or “break” and the wager is lost. In 21, Jacks, Queens, Kings and 10s count as 10. An Ace may be played as a one or an 11. All other cards are played at face value.
When you receive your first two cards, you may either “stand” or “hit.” When you “stand” it means you feel you are close enough to 21 and no longer wish any additional cards and indicated by waving off with your hand. If you wish to receive another card or “hit,” tap or scratch the table behind your wager with your finger. In either situation, you will never touch the cards, everything is communicated using hand signals. You may draw as many cards as you want until you are close to 21 or until you “bust.”
If you are closer to 21 than the dealer, you win and are paid an amount equal to your original wager. If your hand is less than the dealer’s, you lose. If the dealer’s hand “busts” or “breaks,” you win as well. Ties are a standoff or “push” and your bet remains on the table.
If your initial two cards total 21, any Ace with a 10, Jack, Queen, or King, you have a Blackjack. Blackjack is paid either 6 to 5 or 3 to 2 depending on the type of Blackjack you are playing.
In 21, the player has many options to choose from:
If your first two cards have the same numerical value, you may split them into two hands. The bet on the second hand must equal the original bet. If the split pair is Aces, you are limited to a one-card draw on each hand.
After receiving your first two cards you may elect to wager an additional amount not to exceed the value of the original bet. With a double down, you will be dealt one additional card only.
If the dealer’s face up card is an Ace, you may elect to take insurance. The insurance bet is a wager that the dealer has a blackjack. You may bet up to one half of your original bet. Insurance bets pay 2 to 1 if the dealer has a blackjack, but lose in all other instances.
Players have the option of surrendering one half of their original wager after receiving their first two cards. If you surrender your cards, the dealer will take half of your wager. (Note: the Surrender option is not available on the Double Deck game.)
Stadium Blackjack connects you with up to two live table games at the same player terminal and has a minimum bet of just $5 for each hand dealt. A touchscreen displaying two colored tabs lets you switch between and view live outcomes from each available game. This action-packed hybrid gaming experience gives you the opportunity to wager concurrently on up to two games at once with just the touch of a finger, super-charging the excitement. The most exciting Stadium Blackjack Vegas has to offer. To place your wager, choose the amount that you’d like to bet by touching the casino chips across the bottom of the screen. To place your bet, touch the closest wager circle to you. Wagers, winnings, and credits remaining can be viewed in the bottom left portion of the screen. As the game begins, a single hand of Blackjack is dealt to all active players, except for the dealer, who only takes an up card. As players stand or bust, the dealer’s hand is completed as a result of each player’s decision. For example, while one player might stand, sending the subsequent cards to the dealer’s hand, another might hit and receive those cards toward his or her total – leaving each hand to the player’s discretion.
Roulette is an intriguing game that is played throughout the world. The large payoffs that are possible for small wagers stimulate the interest of the expert as well as the novice player, playing Roulette in Vegas.
The rules of Roulette – different players use different colored chips so the bets are not confused. The value of your chips is determined by the price you pay for them. When you’re done playing make certain to redeem your chips at the same table you were playing at. Once you leave that table no one will know the value of your chips.
Each spin of the wheel provides a multitude of options for the player. A player may bet on single numbers, rows of numbers, or on adjacent numbers. A player also may play colors, odd or even numbers, among others. A bet on a single number pays 35 to 1, including the 0 and 00. Bets on red or black, odd or even pay 1 for 1, or even money.
We’re proud to offer Roulette in three variations. In addition to our popular American-style Roulette game with 36 numbered slots, a 0 and a 00, we also offer our European Roulette, which has a single 0 along with the standard 36 numbers, and is a favorite among our international customers. We also offer an exciting new version, where an additional betting option is added.
The diagram indicates the Roulette rules payout for single chip bets and the many combinations available to you. The dealer will be happy to explain any of them. The exact placement of the chips determine the bet being made. Each player is responsible for the correct positioning of their wager on the layout regardless of whether the bet is placed by the dealer.

Craps is a casino dice game that involves a great deal of action and strategy, both with money and the dice.
To understand how to play casino craps, a player first needs to understand the craps table personnel and where they are located. The most common table personnel for craps games in casinos include dealers, a boxperson and a stickperson.
The boxperson is in charge of the craps table and is the immediate supervisor for the entire game. The supervisor is also in charge of the chips and must handle any disputes between the dealers and players.
The dealer to the boxperson’s right side is the 2nd base dealer. Any craps player on that side of the game is on the 2nd base side. A key way to remember this is to look at the field. On 2nd base, number two on the field is the furthest from the boxperson.
The dealer to the boxperson’s left is the 3rd base dealer. Any craps player on that side of the game is on the 3rd base. A key way to remember this is to look at the field. On 3rd base, number twelve on the field is the furthest from the boxperson (1+2=3rd base).
The dealer moving the dice with a long-hooked stick is called the stickperson. The stickperson is located center of the table-opposite of the boxperson.
If a player is “straight out” they are located at the middle end of the table on either side.
Supervisors use the color of a player’s clothing, as well as the players position to designate the player for ratings.
HOW TO PLAY CRAPS
The game of craps has many exciting aspects to it. The concept of playing craps is to roll a number (a point) with two dice and then roll that same number again before a seven is rolled. The person at the craps table that rolls the dice is called “the shooter.”
When there is a number marked by the “pucks,” it means that the number is the “point” of the game. This is the number that the shooter is trying to make before seven rolls.
If the point is made, the puck is turned “off” and the shooter shoots again. It is now a “come out roll.” A “come out roll” means that it is the beginning of the game and there in no point established.
If the next number that rolls is a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, then that is the point of the game. The shooter again tries to shoot the point before seven. If seven rolls before the point, we call that a “seven out.” The shooter loses control of the dice and we give the dice to the next shooter.
A new shooter makes a point and then tries to make the point before a seven, just as the previous shooter.
BETTING IN CRAPS & CRAPS STRATEGY
When playing Craps, the most common craps bets are pass line, place bets, hard ways and craps & eleven. Below are several betting terms that you should familiarize yourself while playing craps.
Pass Line Bet: Players are betting that on the first roll 7 or 11 rolls to win, 2, 3, or 12 loses. If a number such as: 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 rolls, the number must repeat before a seven to win.
Don’t Pass Bet: Player betting that on the first roll 2 or 3 rolls to win, 12 is a push, 7 or 11 loses. If a number such as: 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 rolls, a seven must roll before the number repeats.
Come Bet: Is just like the pass line bet, same rules apply. It’s a game within a game.
Don’t Come Bet: Is similar to the Don’t Pass bet, same rules apply. It’s a game within a game.
Field Bet: If any of the numbers that are in the field box come out, player wins. A field bet can also be referred to as a “ONE ROLL BET.”
Place Bet: Wagers made on the point numbers (4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10) that are not contract bets. A Place Bet is “off” on the come-out roll unless the player indicates otherwise.
Proposition Bet: One roll bet, the numbers are 2, 3, 7, 11 and 12.
Baccarat has long been among the most popular casino games in Europe and Latin America, and, contrary to its appearance, is probably the simplest game to play.
The object of Baccarat is to bet on one of two hands, the one you think will come closest to nine. Nine is the highest hand. Ten value cards have zero value. Aces always count as one. If the cards dealt total more than nine on either hand, they acquire the value of the second digit.
Example: 10=0 17=7 20=0 23=3.
The shoe holds eight decks of cards. It is passed around the table from player to player, counterclockwise, every time a player hand wins. This encourages each player to take an active part in dealing the game. Before cards are dealt from the shoe, everyone places their bet on the side they think will win (banker or player). The player with the shoe then deals four cards alternately. Two are designated player cards; two are designated banker cards. The croupier announces the total of each hand and, if the rules require, will call for a possible third card for either side (see chart). The winning side is announced, losing bets are collected and winning bets are paid even money.
All winning bets on the bank side are assessed a 5% commission. The dealer will keep a running account of your commission, which must be paid at the completion of the shoe (you may pay your commission anytime during the game).
There are two other bets called “pairs” and “tie.” On the “Pairs” bet, you are betting the first two cards on either the Banker or Player hands are a pair. If they are, you will be paid 12 for 1. On the “Tie” bet, you are betting that both the player and banker hands will tie. If they tie, you will be paid 9 for 1. There is also an additional proposition wager called Lucky 6. Should you choose to wager on the Lucky 6, you win 13 for 1 on any winning two card Banker hand totaling 6 and 21 for 1 on any three card Banker hand totaling 6.
We invite you to sit down at any some of the best Baccarat tables in Vegas where our dealers will be glad to show you the game and answer any further questions.
No Commission Baccarat
This exciting variation of Baccarat charges no commission on a winning bank hand. However, the payoff on a winning Banker hand totaling 6 receives 50% of the original bet.
Basic Rules To Remember
- If banker and/or player hand has a total of eight or nine on first two cards, no further cards are drawn.
- Player hand having zero to five must draw one card. Player hand having six or seven must stand.
- Banker hand stands or draws one card as directed by the chart.
Mini-baccarat offers the same excitement and fun that baccarat does. The same rules apply as in Baccarat. In Mini-Baccarat, the croupier is the only person permitted to deal the cards.
This exciting new format puts a new twist on the classic baccarat format, infusing great moments of expectation and thrills with an accessible table minimum of just $5. If you have a love of baccarat, you’ll definitely want to give Stadium Baccarat a try.
Stadium Baccarat is very similar to playing Baccarat at the table. The dealer is dealing the game in front of you, and you can watch the cards being dealt through the display on the betting terminal. Players place their wagers by touching the betting area on their terminals and have an opportunity to play up to four games at the same time.

Each variety has its own set of rules, but in general the goal of each player is to make the best five-card poker hand from the cards dealt. The player wins if he has the best hand at the end of the round or if he has forced his opponents to lay down their hands.
Playing poker provides a number of benefits for people of all ages. It can help improve problem solving skills, memory, and decision making. Poker also promotes critical thinking, as it teaches players to evaluate odds, recognize patterns, and make quick decisions.
In addition, playing poker can be socially beneficial as it is a great way to connect with friends and family. It can also be a great way to make new friends and build relationships. Finally, the game of poker can be an entertainment that allows you to escape from everyday life.
Video Poker Basics
Poker is the most popular card game in the world. The demand for it is so great that many virtual casinos have started placing special slot games on their website. This class of games is called “video poker”, and it combines two types of games – card games and slots. We will tell you how video poker works, how to play it, and what you need to know about this game.
Video poker is a 5 reel slot game. The game is played according to the rules of draw poker – five-card poker with the possibility of exchanging cards. To win, you must wait for the winning combination. In this case, the player has the right to one exchange. Cards are dropped thanks to a random number generator. If you change the card, only one reel spins.
You can find out the combinations and the amount of winnings in the table under each video poker slot. As a rule, these are standard high combinations, such as:
- Pairs and sets over jack
- Full house
- Straight flush
- Royal Flush
Also, in some video poker slots, a joker can be used. It will replace the missing card to complete the high combination, but most likely the winnings will also be lower.
There is a Hold button on video poker slots. It is needed in order to fix 4 drums. You choose 4 reels with matching cards, and you need to spin the last reel one more time. If you are lucky and the right card comes up, you will receive a win.
Bonus game and progressive jackpot
Also, video slots, as a rule, have a bonus game. Fans of excitement can play it after a winning combination appears. 4 closed cards and 1 open card appear in front of the player. You need to choose one of the cards and guess if it is older or lower than the open one. There may also be alternative options – for example, guess the color of the card or the suit. However, the outcome is the same everywhere. If you win, your winnings will be doubled. If you lose, your bet will lose completely. Players have the right to refuse this game and receive their winnings in the standard amount.
Another feature that is practiced in many casinos is the pooling of prize pools in all video poker slots and the progressive jackpot. Thus, after each unsuccessful bet, part of the lost amount is sent to the prize pool. Thanks to this, the lucky one who gets a royal flush will be able to get a huge jackpot.
How to win at video poker?
There are many different strategies in video poker. Players can choose the one they like the most. We will provide some recommendations that will help you achieve a good result in the game.
- Leave any ready-made combination. If, for example, you get a pair of kings, you should not refuse it.
- Place Hold on consecutive cards or the same suit. It is also useful to hold high cards from jack to ace.
- If you have no matches, then it makes sense to leave only the highest card or immediately order a new spin.
Thus, video poker does not fundamentally differ in principle from regular poker. Exception – pairs and sets of low cards will be useless. However, it is quite possible to win in these slots.
Live Casino Game Basics
Live casino is an integral part of the modern gambling industry. And if a few years ago users were wary of real-time games, today this format is one of the most popular and popular. What are the features of Live casino and what games are available for visitors – read on.
Live casino is a playground for participating in gambling entertainment, where real opponents play with the user instead of a computer, and the gameplay is conducted by live dealers. The main advantage of this mode is the presence of a unique atmosphere — live communication between croupiers and gamers. In addition, unlike an online casino, where the outcome of the round is determined by a random number generator, in live the winnings depend directly on the choice of the participant.
As a rule, real-time games do not have a test version. To join the process, the user should register, make a deposit and choose the entertainment he likes.
Advantages of Live Casino
Among the advantages of live casino games are the pace of the game, the transparency and realism of the gameplay. Let’s dwell on each of the points in a little more detail.
- Game Pace
The non-hurried gameplay is the main advantage of playing with a real dealer. So, in a regular game, your pace depends only on you, and it is quite possible to lose a fortune in a matter of minutes.
In live games, there are changes, despite the fact that the rules remain the same: the dealer gives time for the player to make a bet, then the cards are dealt and the player waits for the response. And, given that several players can be at the same table at once, the pace of the game slows down even more. What does this mean? First of all, the fact that the bankroll will be spent gradually, and when uncontrolled excitement appears, there is a good opportunity to more rationally evaluate subsequent actions.
Feeling the atmosphere of a real casino is another advantage that live games can boast. A live dealer, a gaming table, the ability to communicate with players – all this makes the gameplay even more interesting. Moreover, you can feel all this attractiveness without getting up from your favorite chair.
For most incredulous players, for whom the Random Number Generator is not an authority, the ability to see what is happening on the table during a live game is the best way out.
However, in any even the largest and sweetest barrel of honey, there is always a drop of tar, even if it is small. In this case, it is the absence of live games in free mode, such games are played only for real money. Today, some online casinos allow players to act only as observers, but this also requires the presence of a certain amount on the account.
What does a live casino look like?
It is usually assumed that the player sees on the screen a live broadcast from a special room, designed according to all the principles of a traditional casino: tables with games and a live croupier. Thanks to multiple cameras and high video quality, the player gets a complete “presence effect”: he can sit at the table opposite the croupier and see how he deals cards or starts roulette. At the same time, nothing prevents you from communicating both with him and with other players.
It should be said right away that launching live games requires a lot of money from the casino compared to a number generator.
- Equipped game room
As a rule, this is a special studio where there are no strangers. It is very rare for a land-based casino to install cameras in its own halls.
Modern equipment for video broadcasting and service personnel
Image quality is of fundamental importance, so HD or Full HD is usually supported. There are usually several cameras: one gives a general shot, the second shows the croupier large, the third is directed directly at the card table or roulette.
Service personnel are not only operators and sound engineers, but also specialists who perform additional functions:
- Control over financial transactions;
- Supervision of the behavior of the player and the croupier so that they do not violate the rules of the game.
- Professional croupier
It is important that his playing skills are higher than most players. If roulette differs little from a random number generator, then poker, for example, requires a very good knowledge of strategies and remarkable skill, otherwise losing is almost inevitable. And since the croupier cannot be sure that beginners are playing against him, you need to be ready to “fight back” even very strong players.
This is another reason why the live games format is not very common: it is not so easy to find an experienced croupier in the game with a presentable appearance.
- Game control block
This block is needed precisely in order to “convert” an ordinary board game into an online format. As a rule, the croupier applies each card to a special scanner before it is dealt or used in the game. This allows the player to see in a separate window how the game is going, including seeing their own cards.
The game control block also insures against various mistakes that the croupier can make and against cheating on his part.
Usually live casinos offer the following set of games:
- Black Jack;
- Dice games.
The set of specific games may differ depending on the institution, that is, on the operator and the site on which the game is played. But for any player it is not a problem to choose exactly what he will be interested in.
How to play online casino and win
Gambling is primarily entertainment, where it is important to enjoy the game itself, and not from winning. At the same time, if you lose every time for a long time, hardly anyone will have enough enthusiasm to continue the game. How to play in an online casino to win? In fact, everything is quite simple, you just need to remember a few rules.
Choose reliable online casinos with a good reputation
Among the thousands of online casinos, it is important to choose those that work honestly. Such online gambling sites, first of all, have a license. Information about it can most often be found on the main page of the casino website or in a special section. In addition, such casinos immediately stand out with a bright site, thought out to the smallest detail. A clear interface and a large selection of games from leading developers attract the attention of visitors at first sight.
In addition to having a license, you should also look for reviews of real players about the casino you like. Hundreds of players have collected reviews on specialized portals about how they liked playing in a particular institution. In addition, the portals themselves often make detailed reviews of the casino, which analyze many factors, including the choice of games, the work of the support service, as well as the reputation and speed of payment of winnings to winners.
Pay attention to starting bonuses
The main difference between online casinos and traditional casinos is a variety of bonuses for new players, such as a no deposit bonus at Parimatch Casino. No deposit bonuses, as the name implies, are received by all players who have recently registered at an online casino, and for this there is no need to make any amount on a game deposit. In addition, almost all casinos also offer so-called deposit bonuses to players. In this case, the bonus is credited in an amount that depends on the amount of the deposit that the player makes to the game account. For example, if the deposit bonus looks like “x2”, this means that if a player deposits $10 into his account, using this bonus, the amount in his account will double.
In addition to deposit and no deposit bonuses, you can find free games in the starter packages of many casinos. Usually, players get the opportunity to play games of different genres several times and this helps to get to know the casino and its collection of games better. When choosing an online casino, it makes sense to compare welcome bonuses in different casinos and choose the ones that have generated the most interest.
Practice on free games before placing a bet
Experienced online casino players are often advised not to neglect free games. Even if you are well versed in the rules of the game, in an unfamiliar casino, questions may arise with the game menu and navigation. In addition, the same type of game can have many variations and it can be easy to get lost in the rules. Accordingly, if you immediately start playing for real money, there is an additional risk of losing just because you do not fully understand the game.
To find free games, look at game demos. There are quite a few games at every online casino where you can choose between a free trial version and a full-fledged game where you wager with real money. However, keep in mind that it is usually not possible to win real money while playing the demo version. In addition to trial versions of games, you can also effectively use the free games from the bonus packages for new players, which we talked about above.
As you can see, choosing a reliable online casino is not difficult. To do this, you just need to follow a few simple rules.
Dos and Don’ts of Casino Gambling
If you do decide that casino gambling is for you, then there are a few rules you should try to follow. We have set out what we believe to be the most important of these rules below, in the form of a list of dos and don’ts. We strongly recommend that you take the necessary time to read through these and do your best to abide by them once you start playing.
+ Limit Your Losses
This is a golden rule of casino gambling, or any form of gambling, for that matter. You should have a fixed amount of money you are prepared to lose, and limit yourself to only losing that amount. You should also make sure that you only ever risk money that you can afford to lose, and never borrowing money to play with is a good way to ensure this.
+ Do Know the Rules
The rules of most casino games are generally incredibly simple or fairly straightforward, but there are a few games that have somewhat more complicated guidelines to follow. Regardless of whether the rules are simple or not, though, it’s very important that you fully understand them before playing any game. It’s hard enough to win casino games to begin with, and it becomes even more difficult when you don’t understand how to properly play them.
+ Do Learn Some Strategy
Most casino games are primarily based on luck, but there are a few games that involve some strategy, too. It’s a good idea to learn the best strategies to use where relevant, as this can help you minimize the house advantage. Strategy in casino games is usually as simple as remembering which decisions to make in certain situations, so it’s fairly easy to learn.
+ Do Assume You’re Going to Lose
We strongly recommend that you assume you’re going to lose every time you play in the casino. There’s nothing wrong with hoping to win, of course, but you shouldn’t expect to. Losing is always the most likely outcome, so it helps to be prepared for it. You’ll be less likely to get upset when you do lose if you take this approach, and when you win, it will be a welcome surprise.
+ Do Quit When You’re Ahead
When you’re winning in a casino, it can be very tempting to continue riding your lucky streak. There’s always a possibility that your luck will turn around at some point, and you must be careful not to give back everything you’ve won. You’ll never know the perfect time to stop, but you need to make sure that you quit at a point when you’re still ahead. This is the only way you’ll ever have a winning session in a casino.
x Don’t Chase Your Losses
This is another golden rule that applies to any form of gambling. There are going to be times when you are losing money in the casino, and you should never try increasing your stakes in order to recover the money you’ve lost. Chasing your losses will result in even greater losses more often than not, and it can result in you spending more money than you should. Just accept that luck isn’t on your side, stick to your budget, and try again another time.
x Don’t Drink Too Much
There’s nothing wrong with enjoying a drink or two while at the casino, but it’s important that you don’t drink too much. Drinking will affect your judgment, and you really don’t want to start being reckless when playing casino games. A drunken gambler is rarely a successful gambler, so make sure you stay sober enough that you can focus on what you’re doing.
x Don’t Rely on Betting Systems
No matter what anyone tries to tell you, there’s no betting system that will help you beat the casino. The house advantage will always be there, regardless of anything you do. Some betting systems can be quite enjoyable if you use them sensibly, but you need to recognize that they won’t actually improve your overall chances of winning. Systems such as the Martingale system, where you double your stakes every time you lose, have been tried by many gamblers without success. These systems can be very dangerous and can cause you to lose a lot of money very quickly.
x Don’t Be Rude to the Dealers
This isn’t something you have to worry about when playing online, but it’s an important rule when playing in a live venue. There’s absolutely no excuse for being rude to a dealer just because you’re losing money, or for any reason at all, for that matter. It’s unacceptable behavior, and it could even lead to you being thrown out of the casino. Dealers are just there to do a job, and they have no control over whether you win or lose. You don’t have to tip them if you don’t want to, but it is respectful to do so.
x Don’t Miss Out on Extra Value
Because casinos have a mathematical advantage, it’s in their best interest to encourage people to play. They usually do this by giving out incentives or rewarding players in some way. In a live casino, for example, they may give you “comps” such as a free meal or a free hotel room based on how often you play. At an online casino, you may be offered free chips for making a deposit. Whether you are playing live or online, you should always see what extra value you may be entitled to and try to take advantage of it.
We can’t promise that any of these rules will help you win money, but we are confident that you’ll have a better overall experience in the casino if you follow them.
